From first idea to final handover.
Designing and delivering a youth football programme: planning sessions, coordinating logistics, communicating with parents and preparing a successor.
02 / A LITTLE ABOUT ME
I’m building a career in construction project management, with an interest in how good planning, responsible decisions and clear communication shape better places.
My route has taken me from studying construction in Australia to leading a youth programme in Zanzibar, and now to the University of Plymouth. Along the way, I’ve learned to work with different people, organise competing priorities and take responsibility for delivery.
My long-term ambition is to become a Chartered Construction Project Manager and contribute to infrastructure and development, particularly in East Africa.

Exploring how a building’s envelope can support better energy performance.
An academic response to tender for upgrading the Babbage Building’s façade and openings, considering the building in its original, pre-refurbishment condition. The brief calls for an energy-efficient fabric upgrade using offsite manufacturing.
This is a university study based on a real building. It is not a commissioned project or a claim of involvement in the building’s actual refurbishment. The illustration is conceptual, and no completed design or performance outcome is claimed.
PROGRAMME LEADERSHIP / MAY–AUGUST 2026
Taking a youth football programme from an idea to a structured, deliverable experience.
I designed and delivered the programme, creating session plans and operating procedures while coordinating the practical details needed to run it.
The setting was sport, but the responsibilities were familiar to project work: understanding a brief, planning resources, keeping stakeholders informed, responding to change and making a handover useful to the next person.
